1. Monetize Your Blog Traffic

There are several ways to monetize your website or blog.
Today I want to discuss advertising. If you have a
website or blog that attracts traffic you can sell your
products or you can sell products for others.

When you sell someone else's product, you can do that
directly or you can do that indirectly.


Direct Selling:

If you look at this blog post you will find a banner ad for Virtual Smart Agent.


I purchased this product and love it! It has increased
my sales significantly! Because I thought it was a great
investment, I talked about it on my blog.

Since I only recommend products I like and have had
success with, you won't see a lot of direct sales on my
blog.


Indirect Selling:

This is primarily done through advertisement. One of
the most popular means of indirect selling is through a
program by Google called Adsense.

Adsense is a program that you sign up for are given some
code to add to your website or blog that allows you to
advertise products or services that are relevant to your
website or blog.

You don't know what the products are but Google will
match advertisers to your blog content. Any time a
visitor clicks on one of those ads you make money.

I don't put Adsense on every blog but when I do I follow
the suggestions of Joel Comm. I paid $97 for his ebook
